Cara Membuat Kimchi (Kimchee)

 Kimchee adalah makanan khas korea yang berasal dari sayuran fermentasi. Kimchee mempunyai banyak variasi seperti kimchi lobak, kimchi cabai hijau, kimchi mentimun dll. Setiap musim berganti, kimchi yang disediakanpun berbeda-beda. Kimchi paling banyak ditemui saat musim dingin karena pada musim itu, masyarakat korea tidak bisa menanam sayuran sehingga sayuran harus difermentasikan. Inilah langkah-langkah membuat kimchi.

Bahan-bahan:

• 500 g kubis china
• 1,5 sdm bawang putih tumbuk
• 1,5 sdt  jahe tumbuk
• Daun bawang potong panjang 5 cm
• 2 sdm cabai merah cincang halus
• 1 sdm merica bubuk merah
• 1 sdt cabai merah korea
• 2 sdm saus ikan asin
• 2 sdm cuka

Cara membuat:

1. Potong kol (jangan terlalu halus) dan tempatkan pada wadah besar.
2. Taburi kol dengan garam selama 3 atau 4 jam.
3. Peras kubis kering dan tempatkan di wadah lain.
4. Campurkan bahan-bahan lain.
5. Masukkan kedalam kulkas minimal 2 hari sebelum disajikan.
